
Rob had a forty year career in Mercer, the global HR consulting firm, where his last role was as Leader of Diversity and Inclusion Consulting for the International Region. He works with organisations to help them develop diverse workforces and inclusive cultures, in order to retain the best talent, meet diverse customer needs and drive business success. Rob has been a passionate advocate for gender equality and equal pay throughout his career. He spent seven years on the board of PWN Global, the leading global women’s network: the last two of which were as their first male Co-President. He speaks and posts regularly on talent trends and the future of work, including the importance of achieving gender balance in the workforce and in the leadership of organisations.

Amanda is a passionate and successful sales professional with experience in financial printing, education and start-ups. As someone with a naturally upbeat and positive nature, she thrives on finding solutions for her clients. Based on her own work-life experiences, she is determined to see equality for all within the workplace. She is delighted that her new role will enable her to support organisations and management teams in better understanding their representational issues.

Susanna is currently a third year English Literature student at the University of Edinburgh. Alongside
her degree, she has spent time working and volunteering on the promotion teams for creative
projects such as film festivals and magazines, all of which were centred around issues of equality and
representation. As a result, she was able to combine her passions for marketing and gender equality
– something which she continues to do at Spktral.

John is an experienced business leader with a breadth of executive and NED board experience across a variety of sectors, including founding, floating and Chairing an AIM listed plc. John has been a business angel for many years focussing on corporate governance and realising value for stakeholders.

Anthony is passionate about the use of technology to empower organisations to create equal futures by giving them the tools to make better people decisions with their data. Having left a computing science degree early to pursue his dreams, Anthony served for 25 years as a navigator and then a Fighter Pilot in the Royal Air Force. In his spare time, when not upside down, he developed software tools for the RAF, one of which won him an award.

With a background in international investment banking, holding senior client management positions in London and Asia, Philip now has a number of advisory and NED roles in start-up organisations in the technology, private equity and charity sectors. Having established and managed culturally diverse teams in financial services in Asia, Philip brings valuable first-hand knowledge and experience.

As a senior HR specialist, Tracey’s expertise lies in the development and implementation of successful, business aligned HR strategies. She has over 20 years-experience as a Board level HR Director across multiple sectors and co-founded and became CEO of Bright Grey, an award winning life and critical illness insurer. Tracey holds non-executive roles in education and not-for-profit sectors and is a qualified business coach. She cares deeply about ensuring fair, inclusive and diverse workplaces and believes that Spktral can play a key role in helping organisations better understand how to achieve them

Fiona is an experienced NED, the CEO of Women on Boards (UK) and an equities investment specialist. Passionate about the power of diverse and inclusive leadership, Fiona established Women on Boards (UK) in 2012 to support minorities applying for board roles. Over the last 8 years she has helped over 1800 individuals secure board positions and advertised nearly 20,000 board positions.

With a background in tech, Iain is a highly experienced business leader and non-executive director who has worked across multiple sectors. Iain now specialises in scaling high-growth businesses and is currently on the board of a number of successful Scottish tech start-ups. He strongly believes in the responsibility of boards to understand, resolve and avoid pay gaps in their organisation.

Working in Central and Eastern Europe Innes led and worked with teams where diversity drove business performance. Having experienced first hand how bias can affect someones career, Innes was motivated to create real change through Spktral. Having spent much of his career in financial services, he understands how a broad range of stakeholders including investors, can be a catalyst for positive, sustainable change.

An earthquake engineer come management consultant, Alan’s work includes corporate restructures, turnaround and design and delivery of digital services – including the GOV.UK “Transparency in Supply Chains” and “Gender Pay Gap Reporting” services. He’s passionate about promoting organisations who care about diversity and equality. That’s why he joined Spktral – to give leaders tools to help them see more clearly how to make a difference.

She has substantial experience building and leading diverse teams and projects including EY’s award winning global Women. Fast forward programme, profiled annually at WEF Davos. Rebecca is part of the UK delegation to the Women20 forum an official engagement group of the G20. She was recently named a top 50 Advisor for Leadership and Management by Enterprise Nation – the UK’s leading organisation supporting SMEs for her work through her business Wise Sherpa.
Michelle Gyimah is the Director of Equality Pays, a gender equality consultancy dedicated to closing workplace pay gaps. Michelle’s unique understanding of workplace challenges enables her to embed practical application into her consultancy. She is a passionate advocate for enabling women (and men) to progress in their careers no matter their outside of work responsibilities and lifestyle choices. Michelle has over 12 years’ experience of working at the Equality and Human Rights Commission as a gender equality advocate.
Denise helps organisations create the commercial and people operating systems required to optimise business performance by focusing on resources, investment, data, customer and technology. In building a competitive advantage the diversity and inclusion agenda is often overlooked, with limited consideration given the frameworks that need to be in place to embrace diversity and inclusion as a business advantage. Denise works with leadership teams to deliver this.
Nigel is founder of Marriott Statistical Consulting. They work with people in research, intelligence, modelling, forecasting or planning roles who need to collect, measure, present, analyse and interpret data and use the results to make decisions about the present or plan for the future. They have also developed expertise in gender pap gap reporting data analysis. As a member of Royal Statistical Society, Nigel has given evidence to the Treasury Select Committee and assisted in a number of government consultations on the subject.
